RYAN MOONEY-BULLOCK – GREEN UMBRELLA

Ryan Mooney-Bullock is the Executive Director of Green Umbrella, a non-profit focused on improving the sustainability of the Greater Cincinnati Region through cross-sector collaboration. She has spent the last 20 years working in science and environmental education and environmental policy in Chicago, New Hampshire and Cincinnati.

OLIVER KRONER – CITY OF CINCINNATI

Oliver Kroner is the Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Cincinnati. His work focuses on climate science and urban policy, including energy, transportation, waste, and food systems. He leads collaboration of government and community partners to advance and track the sustainability, equity, and resilience strategies of the Green Cincinnati Plan.

He is a published researcher, and has presented at over 100 conferences and events, including the United Nations Convention on Climate Change, ICLEI World Congress, Smart Regions Conference, DesignBuildCincy, Project Drawdown, International Congress on Sustainability Science & Engineering, and more. He has served on numerous non-profit boards, including the Green Partnership for Greater Cincinnati, Mill Creek Alliance, Cincinnati 2030 District Working Group, Northside Community Council (President), Fuel Cincinnati, and PAR Projects. He is a graduate of Miami University and Northeastern University, and a proud AmeriCorps alum.

JASON NALLY – MAKER’S MARK

Jason Nally was born and raised in Loretto, Kentucky–on the farm adjacent to the Maker’s Mark Distillery. With an extensive background and passion for conservation and wildlife, Jason combined his love for Kentucky’s two greatest resources, the environment and Maker’s Mark, and is now charged with leading environmental and sustainability initiatives as well as overseeing research and conservation activities at Star Hill Farm.

Jason holds a degree in Wildlife Management from Eastern Kentucky University. After completing an internship with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources and The Nature Conservancy, Jason traveled around the commonwealth for ten years serving various roles within the government and non-governmental sectors as an educator and wildlife biologist.

Jason currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife Rachel and daughter Hazel. Aside from his love for bourbon (he prefers Private Select Taste Panel), Jason enjoys backpacking, music, organic gardening and hunting alongside his bird dog, Roscoe John Coltrane.

JULIE DONNA – CITY OF LOUISVILLE

Julie Donna serves as Louisville Metro Government’s Sustainability Specialist in the Office of Advanced Planning & Sustainability. Her work centers around advancing the goals and objectives of the city-wide sustainability plan, Sustain Louisville. She’s focused on building a climate-resilient Louisville through collaborative and equitable solutions. Her previous experience includes leading projects for the City of Cincinnati Office of Environment & Sustainability and Green Umbrella, the regional sustainability alliance of Greater Cincinnati.

A proud graduate of the Neighborhood Institute and Public Allies leadership development programs, she holds degrees in Biology and Environmental Science from Miami University. She currently serves on the board of directors for Louisville Grows and the Louisville Energy Alliance.

JASON DELAMBRE – MIDWEST CLEAN ENERGY ENTERPRISE, LLC

Jason Delambre is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) who works with clients to maximize profitability through effective utilization of natural resources and the development of ground-breaking efficiency and energy generation solutions. Throughout his career, Jason has developed an extensive knowledge of architecture, construction, urban planning, energy, sustainability and greenhouse gas emission reduction strategies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Kentucky (UK), a second Bachelor of Arts in History from Northern Kentucky (NKU), and a Master of Community Planning with a specialized focus in Environmental & Energy Planning from the University of Cincinnati (UC). During his professional career, spanning more than 300 projects, Jason has developed a unique vision of the greenhouse gas reduction strategies and energy efficiency synergies possible through innovative business, infrastructural, financial, policy, and community organizing strategies.

MATT POWELL & COURTENAY HOWELL – CITY OF BOWLING GREEN

Working together for the City of Bowling Green, Matt Powell, Environmental Manager, and Courtenay Howell, Office Associate Sr., coordinate and present educational events and public involvement opportunities for a variety of local audiences. The Environmental Division’s basic focus revolves around the theme of the “Keep it Clean Bowling Green” initiative. That may mean certifying the development community through Erosion Prevention & Sediment Control courses, explaining storm drain and cave system connections to the Over 50 Citizens’ Academy, engaging with followers on social media, enlisting Western Kentucky University freshmen volunteers for installation of storm drain curb markers, or shining light on the direct human impact on water quality to 6th graders.
