Seedleaf maintains sixteen community gardens, manages a composting program that collects materials from local area restaurants, and provides education through Master Community Gardener classes, cooking classes for kids, and CLUCK, a program that teaches about urban chicken keeping.

2015 Fall Waste Tire Collection Schedule
The Waste Tire Collection Program is an ongoing effort to rid Kentucky’s landscape of waste tires. Established in 1998 as part of the Energy and Environment Cabinet’s (EEC), the Waste Tire Collection Program works to ensure the recovered tires are recycled into beneficial products, such as tire-derived fuel or crumb rubber.
During the waste tire collection event, individuals can drop off their unwanted tires at the specified location within their county at no cost. To date, tire amnesty is responsible for the proper disposal of more than 19 million waste tires.

Career Fairs Introduce Local Students to Green Job Opportunities
Bluegrass Greensource recently hosted three career fairs in central Kentucky, providing more than 1,200 students with access to basic green jobs information and to businesses and colleges that offer green career opportunities, education, and/or training.
